This symbolic centre of the Tees Heritage Park was built as part of the Tees Heritage Park Arts Project. Inspired by the work of young people living in the local community, it combines architectural stonework, stone mosaic, earthworks and a cast iron plate map. The work places the visitor at a pivotal point of importance in the park, enabling orientation within, and invitation out into the wider landscape.
